[It sounds like a genuine question, at least partially because his accent is definitely Not British. He also looks really, genuinely confused at the whole situation so there's that.]

He's reluctant to send him to the Ministry, Merlin only knows how they'll shuffle him around. He can't just leave him here alone, though.] Can I help you get anywhere, or find anyone?

If he's that far from home, then . . . then of course the necklace doesn't work. It's probably works a bit like a telephone, you can't call someone across the ocean.] Oh. Of course he can't find me here. I . . . does London have a MACUSA? Or some way to, to contact someone in America?

Again, the natural place to send him is the Ministry, but Remus doesn't hold much fondness or trust for it these days. He doesn't really have any other answer to contact another country's wizarding government, though.] Here, we have the Ministry of Magic. You could try sending a letter by owl, but that'll take a few days, and there'd be a fee to send it overseas... [And who he's trying to contact may not be there anymore, if he's one of the ones who's been displaced in time.] This will probably seem an odd question, Credence, but what year is it?

[Well that's an interesting choice of word there, Remus, they "claim" to be... Clearly he has the utmost faith in their ability to achieve results.] I'm very sorry, but the people you want to contact more than likely don't work there anymore. [Wizards may tend to live longer than muggles (barring unnatural causes of death), but it's very likely they've retired if nothing else.]
