I am in desperate need of a pint, anyway, so one round won't break the bank. Much. Meet you at the Leaky Cauldron in twenty?

Alright. I'll be at the usual booth.

He clocked out and heady to the Leaky Cauldron, carrying his now spoiled jacket over his shoulder. A good Scourgify would clear it up, but with Peter's luck he was more apt to put holes where the pockets had been. The last thing Peter wanted to do was to explain to his mother what happened to his jacket. The less said to her, the better.
Sirius was sitting in his usual spot, looking far cooler than Peter could ever have hoped to appear. He grinned, sliding into the booth across from Sirius.]
So, I suppose the first round is on me, yeah?

Someone's idea of a prank, I'm sure. They are just very terrible at it. Feels good to know that we are still the undisputed prank war champions. Don't worry about the jacket. I hate it, anyway. It's tight around the shoulders and yet the sleeves are too long. I didn't care enough to make it fit in the first place. I'm sort of glad it's been ruined. Gives me reason to find one that's better looking.
[White lies come easy to Peter. He's been telling them his entire life, even to his best mates. Some things are better left unsaid.]
Drinks on me. No one can say no to a free pint.
[He puts his hand up, signalling to the waitress. He orders two pints of the decent ale of the house before turning back to Sirius.]
So, how are things in the dog house? [He's joking. And probably failing at it. Peter's not known for his tact, after all.]

Alright, I'll get the next, then. [There's a quick grin. Careful, Pete, he likes being an unregistered animagus, and it may come in handy in future.] The doghouse is all right, I guess. James is pining, as he does. Dunno where he's gotten off to.

[He's tempted to roll his eyes. Honestly, he doesn't see what the big deal is about Prongs and Evans breaking up. It was bound to happen. School romances hardly ever went anywhere, and if they did they were massively dysfunctional. At least, that's what Peter had read off the cover of Witch World Weekly gossip magazine. He didn't have any real life experience to back it up, but it sounded about right.]
We should do something. You know, the four of us. We could all use a bit of cheering up.

[For his part, Sirius would love for them to get back together, but that's also because Lily's essentially been adopted as another family member by this point. Also, he likes seeing James happy.]
Yeah. Film night, maybe? We could all go into London.
